  • As a Chip-Lead you are responsible for the IC requirements specification and mapping of the IC requirements to the customer requirements.
  • The technical leadership in critical decision making and integration of concepts from system engineers and architects is also part of your tasks.
  • You drive IC design and volume production readiness while owning the chip level KPIs (Power, Performance, Test Time, Area).
  • Ensuring SoC IP blocks fit into the top-level chip hierarchy and ensuring on-chip interfaces are ready is also your responsibility.
  • You own the IC datasheet and Errata sheet and present the technical content to customers.
  • Last but not least, you will work closely together with the project manager, the system architects, the software architects and the IP project managers.

  • Education: completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in electrical engineering or a comparable subject
  • Personality: role model function, strong team player, open-minded
  • Working Practice: encourage your pears to contribute and innovate, have fun designing chips, ability to reach consensus between different parties
  • Experience and Knowledge: multiple years of experience in developing technically demanding integrated circuit; knowledge of design and product qualification methodology for Automotive; basic understanding of requirements and methods acc. ISO26262 (for example FMEDA, FTA, metrics)
  • Languages: very good communication skills in written and spoken English, French and German is a plus
